Shimoda has been stocking the round billets of Lean Duplex Stainless Steel UNS S82122 (NSSC 2120^®) developed by NIPPON STEEL Stainless Steel Corporation. We are able to offer the minimum delivery time of the forged products made of this material.

Lean DSS has the equivalent corrosion resistance and the double strength comparing with the austenitic stainless steels, such as UNS S30400. Therefore Lean DSS has been applied to strength members used in severe corrosive conditions.
