Euskalforging has been certified by Class NK as a manufacturer of flanges for offshore wind turbines.

Euskalforging, S.A (Spain) is a leading manufacturer of flanges for offshore wind turbines in Europe. In collaboration with Euskalforging, Shimoda is promoting to establish the supply chain for flanges for wind turbines which will be installed along the coast of Japan in the near future.

In February, 2021, Euskalforging has acquired the certification of Class NK for the production of flanges for offshore wind turbines. There are two types of offshore wind turbines, floating type and fixed-bottom type. Thanks to the certification by Class NK, Euskalforging is ready to supply flanges for floating type wind turbines installed offshore in Japan.
