A word “SUSTERIAL” was registered as a trademark.

SHIMODA has applied for the trademark registration of “SUSTERIAL”, and now it has been approved by Japan Patent Office.

SUSTERIAL is a newly coined word combining “Sustainable” and “Material”, and it means “Materials which can contribute to SDGs”.

Last year, we launched a metal 3D printing business in order to materialize SUSTERIAL. The metal 3D printer can create products having complex shapes with minimum material loss, which greatly contributes to saving resources and energy.

SHIMODA will continue to challenge “SUSTERIAL manufacturing”.
