A report of the participation in WNE (World Nuclear Exhibition) 2025
We participated in WNE 2025 (World Nuclear Exhibition), held in Paris, France from November 4th to 6th.
As a member of the Nuclear Supply Chain Platform (NSCP), we participated under the supervision of NSCP. (See [Note] at the bottom)
At the exhibition, we had an opportunity to learn about global trends, including the activities of global nuclear companies such as the major French nuclear power companies EDF, Framatome, and Orano, as well as Small Modular Reactors (SMR) which are currently in the spotlight
Moreover, WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) products printed for the nuclear power plant were also exhibited. We were very impressed because those products were printed by MX3D who is the supplier of our metal 3D printer.
Shimoda Flange has expanded its business while changing its shape and form following the changes of the energy industry.
Since the Japanese government has stated in its Seventh Basic Energy Plan that it will make “maximum use of nuclear energy”, we will continue to closely monitor trends in the nuclear industry, and challenge to support the nuclear industry by our technological capabilities.
[Note] We have been also listed on the “Japan Nuclear Suppliers List” compiled by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
