Acquired NORSOK qualification of HIPed flanges.

PM HIP NNS process (Powder Metallurgy – Hot Isostatic Pressing – Near Net Shape process) is a state-of-the-art technology to manufacture metal products made of high grade materials, such as, stainless steels and super alloys.

We have been developing this new process to manufacture fittings by PM HIP NNS process in collaboration with Metal Technology Co. Ltd. (MTC) who specializes in HIP treatment. MTC’s HIP unit, Giga HIP, is the world’s largest working zone (2,050mm dia x 4,200mm height).

The duplex stainless steel flanges HIPed by the Giga HIP unit are qualified by NORSOK standard of Norway as shown in the following:
