The expansion of the application sites of “JIS Q9100: Quality Management System for Aerospace and Defense Products” has been certified.

In June 2018, we obtained certification for JIS Q9100:2016 “Quality Management System for Aerospace and Defense Products”, however the scope of application was only for the machining process, and the application site (factory) was Main plant only.

At the periodical audit in April, 2024, we have applied to expand the scope of application to all manufacturing processes, including material procurement, forging, heat treatment and machining. After the audit, we obtained revised certification dated June 14th which can apply to Tatsuno plant in addition to Main plant.

Thanks to this new certification, we will be able to manufacture aerospace and defense products in an integrated process, that is, from material procurement to the final finishing process.
