　Since our inception in 1946, Shimoda Iron Works Co., Ltd. (commonly known as: “Shimoda Flange”) has worked closely with industries in Japan as a producer of flanges and forged fittings in response to the demands of the times. Meanwhile, we have been working to expand our business fields from shipbuilding to petroleum and coal chemical plants, power plants (thermal power, nuclear power and renewable energy), construction and civil engineering, construction machinery, aviation and space. We will continue to cultivate human resources and enhance advanced and optimum facilities so that we can respond to sophisticated customer needs.
